Seasonal Suggestions
Now is a great time to meet with our tree specialists to get a timeline of the best times for your trees to have work done and for your gardens to have trees and shrubs planted and treated or inoculated. Most people think about their trees in the warmer months, but there are many benefits to doing tree work in the cold weather months.
Consider winter tree work for the following reasons
*Crosstown Tree Service offers the best deals of the year in the wintertime! Consultations and assessments are $25 off ($50 total). Estimates for tree work are free.
*Winter trimming can be the best time to do tree work for many types of trees or types of trimming (ask your specialist).
*Winter trimming minimizes disease transfer and helps with quick healing from pruning and trimming cuts.
*Winter trimming is very good for structural pruning, because it impacts the tree less in a tree's dormant stage.
*For those customers that have ornate gardens it is a great time to have tree work done, because it reduces damage to your flowers and plants.

Spring Tree Care!
It may not feel like it now, but Spring will be coming again soon. You may want to consider the following spring tree preparations!
*If you are planning on planting a tree this year, meet with our Arborist for a consultation on what trees would do best in your yard and we can help you research prices and species that will be offered.
*Gutters can be cleaned after the thaw.
*Most fertilizations and treatments are done in the spring so you may want to get on our list for Emerald Ash Borer and Dutch Elm inoculations.
